Description
59 apartments located on Marine Parade, Southport. Views over the water to Marina Mirage and the ocean beyond, the Grandview was built by Baulderstone Hornibrook.

Statelease
Description
Development of five separate residential projects for the Victorian Government and the ACT Housing Trust. In each case these new dwellings were all leased for 15-years to government housing groups, unlocking capital for government and providing far better, more efficient use of resources.
In each case, we acquired land from government and re-developed these sites with community standard housing using private capital.

Description
48 serviced apartments located in the heart of busy Chapel Street. Designed by Bruce Henderson Architects and built by L.U.Simon.
Waterfront Apartments Williamstown
Description
50 serviced apartments, reception centre and café located on Syme Street, Williamstown. With views across Port Phillip Bay to the city, this development is next to the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria and is one of Melbourne’s most profitable serviced apartment operations.
Williamstown Rifle Range Townhouses
Description
Designed by Cox Architects, 45 townhouses built adjoining a marine sanctuary, this development was fully leased to a serviced apartment operator.
The Menzies Malvern
Description
124 high-end retirement apartments and a medical centre set at the corner of High Street and Glenferrie Road in the heart of Malvern. This project was a joint venture with accounting firm PwC. The Menzies apartments were all sold soon after construction and it is now managed by Lend Lease Communities.

Description
Designed by Peddle Thorpe Architects, 46 townhouses built on Greg Norman Drive, Sanctuary Lakes resort. All leased to a single serviced apartment operator
21 Park Street South Melbourne
Description
22 apartments located a short walk from St Kilda Road and the Botanical Gardens, Melbourne.
University Grange
Description
40 townhouses built next to Latrobe University. These townhouses were primarily rented to international students.
Transmetro Serviced Apartments
Description
Located close to the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Jolimont, our joint venture role in this project was limited to the sale and (investor) placement strategy for the apartments, all of which were leased to a public company hotel group.

Kingston Global Industrial Estate
Description
Located in one of Melbourne’s premier industrial precincts (Keys Road, Moorabbin) this $30m development was a joint venture with specialist industrial developer, Pellicano. Each of the 35 factories within this project were sold off to a mix of investors and owner occupiers.

GE Capital (Stage 1)
Description
We advised state-owned bio-technology company AMRAD on the master-planning potential for a major site it inherited on Swan Street, Burnley. Despite highly restrictive development constraints and caveats we were able to partner with Lend Lease on the development of GE Capital’s Melbourne headquarters at Burnley. This project became the first stage of one of Melbourne’s most successful office clusters.
New Generation Motor Dealerships
Description
Located on one of the most visible, busy corners in Melbourne’s western suburbs, this development comprised 6 independently owned motor vehicle dealerships (VW, Ford, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Peugeot).
All dealerships were pre-leased and pre-sold prior to the commencement of construction.
Bendigo Bank Melbourne Headquarters
Description
This 8,300square metre, seven level office at 120 Harbour Esplanade, Docklands was fully pre-leased to Bendigo Bank. Designed by DkO Architects, it was pre-sold to an ASX listed investment group and was last sold for $80m. The Bendigo Bank building formed an integral stage of our Victoria Point development.

Stephen Apperly

Founder
Prior to founding Longreach, Stephen had a career in merchant and investment banking. While at Capel Court, Stephen helped develop methods for creatively funding large-scale public and private property development and infrastructure projects. These projects were located both locally and internationally.
In particular his work with Swiss based, zero coupon bond funding structures was successfully used by some of Australia’s most prominent property development and investment groups.
Stephen co-founded the RIA Property Group in 1990. Stephen comes from a family of six architects. His father was Chairman of the School of Architecture at the University of NSW in Sydney. Stephen has always had a great interest in all aspects of property, including design.
Stephen is an Aerospace Engineer and holds a Master of Applied Finance from the University of Melbourne. He is married with two children.

Richard Apperly
Adviser
Richard founded Pixelskin Interactive in 1996. Pixelskin became one of Melbourne’s leading digital agencies and over a number of years gained national prominence at the Australian Interactive Media Internet Awards.
In 2005 Richard evolved Pixelskin into Winebox Digital. Winebox Digital has provided IT solutions and digital marketplace platforms for many Wineries throughout Australia, the United States and France.
Prior to Pixelskin, Richard spent more than ten years in various senior IT roles for a US based data and analytics multi-national group.
